Welcome to the January-February 1996 issue of Mission Frontiers where we introduce you to the ministry of the U.S. Center for World Mission.  The U.S. Center is the parent organization that publishes Mission Frontiers. Unlike most missions periodicals whose sole purpose is to promote the work of the parent organization, Mission Frontiers' major purpose is to promote the overall frontier mission movement. That is why it is rare for us to focus on ourselves. Sure, we will have a few pages in each issue to display our resources, but rarely do we have ourselves as the focus of the magazine. So we invite you to take advantage of this rare opportunity to learn about the ministry of the U.S. Center for World Mission and the impact on world evangelization that we are trying to make.
